2025 Annual Meeting
On July 19, 2025, the Little Lake Sunapee Protective Association held its 55th anniversary celebration and annual meeting in the Phillips Barn at the New London Historical Society. In her opening remarks, President Deb Hoover saluted our 80 volunteers, stating that the monitoring of water quality and invasive species is at the heart of our volunteer program. She gave a special thanks to boat launch trash warrior Dale Conly and retiring board member Bill McCormick for helping to lead membership development and website enhancements, among other projects. Deb also urged all 170 members to get educated about the threats to our lake and stay engaged with the lake as a steward in whatever way they can. There is no denying that we are up against many challenges including climate change, fewer public resources, invasive species threats, and cyanobacteria blooms.
Thanks to Andrea LaMoreaux, NH LAKES President and Policy Advocate, for sharing top ways to make Little Lake Sunapee more resilient to Mother Nature and us!
